Please make sure you understand these rules before you roleplay as the management will not hesitate to suspend anyone who breaches these rules. Remember the 3 strike rule is in effect. One strike is a warning, second a suspension, third and final strike is termination of your SWF contract.
This handbook is split up into sections, seasoned ewrestlers might want to miss out the novice section as that is intended for people new to ewrestling.

1. For the Novice
For those of you who may be complete novices to ewrestling I will explain just how the SWF works. The fed is run by roleplaying, this means you create an original wrestler (by that I mean no copying or rip off's of any current or past pro-wrestlers or indeed even any INDY wrestlers), then you roleplay as him.
In an essence during your roleplays you become your character and react to situations the way he would. For more on roleplaying click here You then challenge other wrestlers and sign matches or are booked against rival wrestlers by the front office. You then roleplay against him ... just like real wrestlers trash talk to each other before a big match.
The front office will then decide who's roleplays are the best, take into account any angles (planned future events), take a look at your strat for the match and then decide upon the winner. We grade roleplays on originality, quality, length, lay out and grammer! Around 60% of your total match score will come from your roleplays, a maximum of 20% can be earned from a top quality strat and the final 20% will come from any angles in place. For more on Strats please see the templet on the main index page.
All cards will be hand wrote and no simulators at all will be used ...if you have any questions at all contact
2.Roleplaying Rules
2.1 You absoluetly MUST roleplay at least twice a week, if you don't your membership may be suspended, so if you can't roleplay don't bother signing up.
2.2 We understand everyone needs a break so if you intend to go on vacation in the near future and will be unable to roleplay please inform the executive committee either by emailing us or by stating it on the OCC board so that you won't be cut from the roster due to lack of roleplaying, indeed an angle may even be played out which could get your character "over" when he returns.
2.3 The SWF judges quality over quantity ... so no doing ten small roleplays a day if you can fit it in one.
2.4 You must NOT beat up your opponent or a SWF front office official in your roleplays unless you make it clear it's a paraody i.e beating up a dwarf who resembles him.
2.5 Please don't bring personal issues into your roleplays (So no bringing up his ex-wife unless his wrestler says he has one...lol)
2.6 Please keep swearing to an absoluete minimum and please mask if you feel you must swear to get your wrestler's feelings over.
- The odd b*tch and b%stard is acceptable but don't make it nearly every single word, that just makes you look stupid.
- Keep sexual and ultra violent acts to a minimum, turn the camera in your roleplays away from the action if you must
- Please keep your roleplays realstic with no superhuman tendancies from your wrestler.
- All in all, we are pretty leniant as the SWF by essence is a controversial promotion but anything we do will be in good taste, so you do the same.
2.7 Don't forget even if you don't have a match you can still roleplay to do some character building to help you get over etc. The front office looks very favourably on people who are dedicated enough to do this!
2.8 When addressing someone in your roleplay, try to address it to them in the titles at the top of your roleplay. This is not demanded I've just found out this avoids people missing your challenges and makes it easier for the bookers to sign matches.
2.9 The SWF is a semi-booked fed, therefore the bookers reserve the right to book matches without the permission of the parties involved.
2.10 However when signing your own matches, your opponent MUST have accepted your challenge and ALSO emailed me with the match. If I find any illegal match signings, the person who made the match will be JOBBED OUT
2.11 If for some reason you decide the SWF isn't for you anymore or you are unable to roleplay please inform the President so that you may be taken off the roster and written out in a way that is favourable to both parties. However the SWF reserves the right to book matches for wrestlers for 2 weeks after the notice of leaving was sent.
3.Board Rules
3.1 Always roleplay on the main roleplay board, nowhere else unless the board is down, therefore roleplay in the back-up book.
3.2 Please test your pics and your roleplays on the special testing board so that the roleplay board doesn't become cluttered.
3.3 If there ever comes a time when the fed has too many members, the SWF training center the Powerplant will come into force. New recruits will be made to roleplay here until they are scouted. The SWF also reserves the right to terminate the contracts of any said wrestlers without any agreed notice.
3.4 The out of charcter board is to be used to chat to your fellow SWF wrestler's out of your wrestler's persona. The President may also make announcements here, so always check it as match signings could be made here!
3.5 Please don't use music in your roleplays.
3.6 All roleplays must be posted by the given deadline in order to count for your match.
3.7 Finally, DO NOT post little messages underneath peoples roleplays making smart remarks etc, people that is what the OOC board is for! Breaches of this rule will result in disicplinary matters.
4. Titles
4.2 The SWF currently offers 5 championships and imploys RADICAL rules which will present an all round rage of wrestling styles. In order of their prestige and with the set minimum amount of days they have to be defended in, they are listed below;
- SWF Heavyweight Title (Must be defended every 30 days)
- SWF Madness Title (Must be defended every 21 days)
- SWF Junior-Heavyweight Title (Must be defended every 21 days)
- SWF Tag Team Titles (Must be defended every 21 days)
- SWF Six Man Tag Titles (Must be defended every 7 days)
More titles may be added as the front office see's necessary! For a list of past titles which are now defunct please see the title history, for more on our radical rules of title matches click here!
4.3 As win/loss rankings have never been that important in professional wrestling, the SWF has decided to base it's rankings on the following;
- Your roleplaying ability
- The heat you are generating
- The angles you are taking part in
- Your actual win/loss record
5.General Rules
5.1 If you believe you edged out your opponent roleplaying wise but still lost it was probably because of the angle or the quality of the strat, if so pick yourself up and dust yourself off as somewhere down the line you will be rewarded!
5.2 If you feel you have been totally 'screwed' please politely email me and I'll discuss with you why you lost.
5.3 Remember your angles, spots and sneak attacks may be accepted but they might not, so there are no guarantee's!!!
5.4 If you feel your character isn't getting very far, check out the various roleplaying help pages on the site and email the various members of staff, they will be glad to give you some pointers.
5.5 Only one wrestler will be allowed per handler!
5.6 All in all, remember it is just a game, have fun, wining isn't everything!
REMEMBER: IF YOU CAN'T ROLEPLAY SPARE US THE ADMINISTRATIVE BURDEN AND DON'T APPLY, BUT IF YOU DO JOIN GET READY FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!
Note: New rules may be added at any time and existing rules can be changed at the discretion of the front office.
