Recipe of Dango
Mixture A
rice powder - - - - - - - - 300g
boiled water - - - - - - - 250cc
Mixture B
soy sauce - - - - - - - - 50cc
water - - - - - - - - - - - 75~100cc
sugar - - - - - - - - - - - 70g
corn starch - - - - - - - - 2 spoon full
To make Dango(12 sticks):
- Blend mixture A in the bowl. Mix them together with spatula, and knead with hands.
- Put the mixture on the wet towel and steam it for about 30 minutes.
- Remove it, and wrap it with a wet towel.
- Spread the dough smoothly like a pie crust and put it in the cold water.
- Roll it and divide it into 3. Then cut the rolled strips into 16 pieces.
- Shape each piece intoa ball, using water.
- Put 4 pieces onto a small wooden skewer.
- Heat them in the oven.
- Heat mixture B (sauce), with 2 spoons of water.
- Put the heated sauce on the dango, while it is still hot.
