What an awesome day! I finally got something accomplished. :o) I fixed a problem with my matlab program -- and I got the numbers I was looking for! Unfortunately, even though they were numbers I wanted, they were not what I expected even though my method of getting them was right (I think). That's ok, I just have to deal with them now... At least I have something to write my paper about now!!! Yeah... I can start getting my presentation ready...
That's all I've been doing today, is working on my data analysis and trying to make fancy graphs. Tonight I am talking to Aron for a bit, and going RUNNING!!! I did last night, and I ran for half an hour straight!!! That's better than I did before my surgery. I feel really good about that, so I'm going to try it again... ;o) There's a 5k run on Sunday morning, it's kind of a race. I don't think I am ready for that yet. ALSO on Sunday is the camp TALENT SHOW! I have been tinkering on the piano in the auditorium and even without the music to some of the songs I used to play, I can get them out all right. If I can find any time to practice tonight and tomorrow, I will sign up for it... But I have that presentation to prepare for... Plus, that piano in the auditorium is a piece.
There's these girls that serve food in the cafeteria every day that seem like they are always happy to be there... They joke around the whole time and wear nametags with other people's names on them, or people from movies... Well, today they decided to make nametags for some people at UMBS! And I got one! It was "Cute little blonde girl." That's really funny cause that's how Aron refers to me. :o)
I only took 2 pictures tonight -- and I am lucky they turned out at all! I took them after I got back from running and I was so shaky that nothing turned out very well! :o) I ran for half an hour again... It was so nice! Now I know why people do it... I never liked it before, but it's different now somehow, it's actually enjoyable... You just do it because you CAN do it, and that makes you feel more powerful somehow... Plus the whole exhilirating exhaustion feeling afterwards is nice too. You feel like you actually DID something... ;o) I want to go out again now but it is dark out! I'll have to go tomorrow...
