A Perfect Creation

Many years ago, before there were humans and before there were animal, trees, plants, buildings, or schools, before time had ever begun, GOD existed.

GOD had an idea to create something.
So GOD created, what we know as, Outer Space and the Earth. The Earth was without any shape and it was completely empty.
Maybe it looked like a lump of clay that had not been made into anything.
There was also a lot of water, and the Spirit of GOD moved over the face of the waters, and GOD said “Let there be light.”
Suddenly, light appeared, and God looked at the light and saw that it was good.
God separated the light from the darkness, and He called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. This was the end of day One.
God’s voice is so powerful that when He speaks things happen!

GOD said, I will put a sky in the middle of the waters, to divide the waters from each other.
So, GOD made the sky and put some of the water under the sky and some of the water above the sky. GOD named the sky heaven and that was the end of day Two.

GOD said, Let the waters under the sky be brought together unto one place and let dry land appear, and that’s exactly what happened!
GOD named the dry land Earth and the waters under the sky He named Seas. GOD look at what He had created and saw that it was good.
GOD told the Earth to grow grass and herbs and trees and all manner of plants, which were to have seed in them to grow more of their kind.
The Earth did what GOD told it to do, and GOD saw that it was good, and that was the end of day Three.

GOD said Let there be lights in outer space, and let them be used for signs, and for seasons, for days and years; and they will be in space to give light to the Earth.
GOD made two bright lights, the brightest light was to rule over the day (sun) and the other was to rule over the night (moon) and He also made the stars. GOD saw that it was good and that was the end of day Four.

God filled the waters with every living creature that moves in the water, and He filled the sky with every kind of bird that can fly.
GOD saw what He created was good, and He blessed them, and commanded them to have many children, so that the sea creatures would fill all the waters and the Birds would fill all the sky. This was the end of day Five.

GOD filled the land with every kind of cattle, Beast, creeping thing and every Animal that lives on land, and GOD saw that it was all good.

GOD said Let us make man in our image, to reflect our likeness, and man will rule over the fish of the seas and the birds of the air and the cattle and over all the Earth and everything that lives on Earth.
God formed man from the dust of the ground and made man in His image.
God took man and breathed into his nose the breath of life and God gave man a soul.

In the beginning it did not rain on the earth, instead a mist sprayed up from the earth and watered all the ground of the earth.
Also, man did not need to till or work the ground, because God took care of it.
God planted a garden in the East of Eden and placed man in the garden to take care of it.
God had planted one of every tree that was good to eat. He also planted the Tree of Life and the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and put them in the middle of the garden. There was a river that went out of Eden to water the garden.

God commanded man saying, You may eat of every tree of the garden except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. For the day you eat of that tree you will die.

The Lord GOD said, It is not good that man is alone. I will make him a helper that will suit him.
Out of the ground GOD formed one of every animal he had previously made and brought them to Adam, and whatever Adam called the animal, that became it’s name.
Adam named every kind of cattle, bird and beast, but for Adam there wasn’t found a helper that was suitable for him.

So, God made Adam to fall into a deep sleep and while he slept, God took one of his ribs out and then closed up the flesh.
With the rib God had taken out of Adam he made woman, and brought her to Adam.
Now, Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

For this reason God has said that a man should leave his father and his mother and cling to his wife, so they will become one flesh.

Now the man and his wife were both naked and they were not ashamed.

So God had created man in his image, so man would reflect the likeness of his maker: God created them both male and female. God blessed them and commanded them saying, Have many children and fill the earth with your kind.
You are to tame the earth and rule over all the animals.
I have given you every herb that has seeds in it and every fruit tree that has fruit with seeds in it, to eat for food.
To every animal on the earth I have given every green herb for food.
God looked over everything He had made and saw that it was Very Good. This was the end of day six.

Now outer space and the earth were finished.
On the Seventh day God ended all His work and rested. God blessed the seventh day and set it apart as Holy, because on that day he had rested from His work.
