WILDBERRY PECAN MERINGUE SQUARES |

Crust:
2 egg yolks
2 eggs whites
3/4 cup tripple fruit jam spread
pinch cream of tartar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cups toasted pecans, ground
Crust:
CREAM all ingredients together until smooth. Pat firmly into greased 9 inch square baking pan. BAKE at 350 degress for 12 minutes, or until golden. Topping:
SPREAD with jam. BEAT egg whites and craem of tartar to soft peaks. Gradually add sugar. beating until stiff peaks form.Gently fold in nuts. spread carefully over jam.
BAKE 20 to 25 minutes longer, or until lightly browned. Cool complete before cutting into squares.
