4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup of butter
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 eggs well beaten
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups chopped walnuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

Put the chocolate and butter in the top of a double boilerover hat water and melt. Remove from heat and add all the other ingredients, mixing them thoroughly, butter an 8-inch cake pan (double recipe needs a larger pan)Pour the mixture into the cake pan at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. When cool icing keep in fridge for half hour before cutting into squares.

Glaze

Melt 1 square chocolate with 1 tablespoon of butter and a 1/4 cup of milk. Blend until smooth add 1 1/4 icing sugar blend well spread over cooled Brownies
