The original Pfeiffer Brewery? I received an e-mail where the sender said that the brewery to the right was built in 1902 and torn down in 1919 due to prohibition, but it was NOT the original. The original was built in 1889 and torn down in 1902. The modern-day brewery (above) was built in 1934, but closed in 1966 and still stands today. All three were on Beaufait Street in Detroit. So the building in question only stood for 17 years...what a pathetic waste! Can any of this be verified? Send me a 'Feedback' if you know! Click the pic for a slightly LARGER view.
