Dorkshire's Atomic Tests

On the 18th of June AD 1, Dorkshire tested it's first Atomic weapons. The site chosen for the test was Swanton Morely, this site was chosen because of it's known rebel factions that make up it's population. The blast was detonated at 4,000 ft, and had an explosive power of 1,000,000 megatons. Everything within a five mile radius of ground zero was obliterated, beyond this, for a radius of 10 miles steel melted and structures were damaged. For a further 25 miles severe burning was detected on human skin and glass melted.

This shows the explosion at 0.1 minutes after detonation.

This image shows the testing from around 6,000 ft. The mushroom cloud had risen from the detonation area up to cloud cover.

The photograph below was taken after it was safe to enter the area of Swanton Morely, it shows the extent of the damage done by the explosion, the building that remains on the left is the Swanton Morely town hall, where most of the residents were sheltering at the time, it is hoped that Max Graves was amongst them!

More testing news: Dorkshire has carried out tests of T54 tanks (with SAMs) against Harrier Jump Jets, the testing proved that the ground to air misiles carried on the T54s worked a treat, especially against outdated 'vertical takeoff' aeroplanes. The problem with Harriers lies in their design, they are too slow to out manouver aerial missiles, and the vertical takeoff aspect only serves as a nice touch rather than a war winning technology.

also under test recently by Dorkshire has been the D172 'Flying Whale', designed by our very own leader Graham. This super heavy Bomber can drop 4,000,000 mega tons of nuclear explosives from 9 miles up! armed with a sophisticated array of modern weapons the Whale is the hardest attack craft of it's type. We can see an artist's impression of the Flying Whale below.

The picture was found in the aftermath of the 'Arclite' bombing campaign against Shropshire. Eyewitnesses said they heard 'a great moaning noise, as if hell its self had opened up!' These graphic descriptions and pictures give anti-Dorkists reason to fear the Dorkshire Power!
