Mr Graves,
I have read your web site and am glad you have published my war memoirs. I have more now, last night I couldn't sleep for the excitement. I remember a time when we were stationed just outside winnipeg and Alex was still the commander. Itwas after the seige of constantinople incident. I was in charge of the trucks. Alex had been ordered to lead us in a charge. He sent me and the boys forwards but without tank support. In fact he got one tank and sat in it for fear of being shot at. When we returned from the battle, Alex was still sitting in the tank, he was fearing for his life, even though he was more than 60 miles behind the lines! When we opened the hatch to the tank, alex screamed "I give up, No Shooto, No Shooto!", when he realised it was us he ordered us away from the tank a quickely as he could. We found out later the reason why, he had been sitting in a pool of his own excrement, his bowels had evacuated due to the fear he was experiencing!
That is all for now, please publish this latest excerpt, as soon as possible...
Regards,
Dickie
So Graves, and Mr M, How do you like them apples!
