This story which is to run in the November issue of Ay Up! gives details of the building from begining to end! Read on!
This first picture shows the construction of the site going according to plan:
This photograph demonstrates that the work on the palace progressed around the clock in order to reach the deadline. The West wing is being built in this photograph.
The next photograph in this sequence has a shot of the North Tower being built, notice the brave Dork who's job it was to weld the girders together.
The Dork later died in a 300 ft fall.
Alex explains the reason for strong constrution techniques: " "Now that Dorkshire is Nuclear capable, this means other nations will not hesitate in using the Bomb in the event of a war against Dorkshire. This being the case, I want my Palace to survive any Nuclear attack at all costs. I also have a large underground bunker built in case of Nuclear strike.'
Security is always at the forefront of Alex's thoughts, this next picture shows the extensive security arrangements at the Palace. A handpicked team of DSP operatives are involved in manning the CCTV screens 24 hrs a day. 'Nothing gets in and Nothing gets out, without us knowing about it!' Said the head of the DSP team who cannot be named for security reasons. The DSP operatives in the photo have had their faces blanked to avoid any breach of security!
Teams of Crack DSP operatives also patrol the gardens and rooms of the estate 24 hours a day! As an extra precaution in security measures, all the Dork workers who toiled over the project were killed at the works completion, to avoid any compromise of the layout of the Palace for would-be assasins.
Now the mighty Palace is built we can show you several shots of the exterior and interior:
The first shot is of the exterior of the main courtyard of the West wing:
This photograph shows how quickly and beautifully the work was completed.
This next shot demonstrates the granduer and beauty of the interior, the famous 'Round Room'
The Round Room was created on Alex's instructions to make it easier for him to find his way out again.
This next photgraph shows Alex in the gardens of the palace, under the Flag of Dorkshire. When a county has a flag this good, what Dorks amongst us cannot help but feel pure pride for all the Leadership does!
And finally in our tour around Alex's Palace,we present this beautiful shot of the palace at sunset, the picture may be purchased as a print at the price of £670.99, a bargin for all Dorks who worship Alex!
