band history

the band was formed in may 1999. jhun the former bass guitar of INFERNAL AMEN convinced bayang to form a new band to be named DECAPITATED. both of them agreed. weeks later, jhun and bayang confronted ace to stand for vocal and jan2x on drums. after several jam sessions the group faces a problem because Jan-Jan doesn't like our style. he a former punk rock drummer and he decided to quit. few months ago jhun convinced vans, former guitarist of INFANTICIDE, a black metal band to join our group and vans agreed, we jammed and play the music we like. after a while, ace said that we have to look for a drummer. and bimboy brother of vans volunteered himself to play the drums . Later we practice our first composition entitled "KILLING ALONE" and bimboy play drums in this composition and the band agreed that bimboy will be the new drummer. he is fast and he's got to be of a BRUTAL DEATH drummer and the band continued jamming from time to time. Our first gig was in JR pub house, the underground pub house. it is the first time that the audience were very shocked co'z our music is totally ugly, brutal ,death. the second song we made is entitled "NEVER BEEN DEAD" we finished it for two weeks and after one month of practice, we decided to make a demo tape even with just two songs. it was then that we recorded it, a live recording. during the late summer, bayang had a plan to mail a picture and a description of the band to the biggest metal magazine, metal maniacs on the march issue of metal maniacs . the band was posted at the shorts section. because of these the band doubled their effort in making compositions as a preparation for demo trading with other bands outside Philippines.
