of the Fiddle-Dee-Dee Club--the best
(and to our knowledge, the only) online club
dedicated to our favorite book and movie,
Gone with the Wind.
American Civil War Association
What is "Living History" and what role do the
members of the American Civil War Association have in the
portrayal of it? Living history is one of the most dynamic
mediums available to those in pursuit of the
past. It is a gathering of period personalities in
an appropriately antiquated setting, such as a
Civil War encampament. Through membership is the
American Civil War Association, one has the
opportunity to recreate portions of the past in lively and
entertaining vignettes, through which the spectator,
as well as the participant, discover and learn more
about their history and the people who lived it.
