Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar disorder is commonly known as Manic-Depression. Someone with Manic Depression my go from being extremly "high", happy, and energetic to feeling extremely "low", depressed, and tired. Bipolar disorder effects many people throughout the United States. A person with Bipolar may be very testy and irritable during the mania period while very sad and hopeless during the depression period. Bipolar Disorder starts in the adolesent period or early adults. It can continue on throughout your entire life, but is completly treatable. Someone with Bipolar Disorder can be treated with psychotherapy, medications, and hospitalization, should the need arise. People with Bipolar Disorder can be suicidal and a threat to not only themselves, but to the people they encounter, should the severity of the disorder be right.

If you have BiPolar disorder, it is NOT YOUR FAULT. It is not a character flaw. You can get help for it and I strongly reccommend that you do.
