Healing
To do a healing, you must practice theses things: Visualization, Meditation, Focus, Concentration, and Energy Direction. Focus and concentration are generally up to you, because you must practice, practice, practice to become adept at these things. And what you must practice is the art of meditation and visualization. These are what aid you in Energy Direction. If you haven't already accomplished some of the meditative techniques, then please go back and do so before attempting a healing of any major proportions. These are not to be used "instead" of seeing a physician but as an aid, along with seeing a medical provider Now let's review.
Meditation
First, we'll take meditation. I am hoping here that you have read up on & studied the previous lessons, but we will review it nevertheless. Meditation is the art of clearing the mind of all mundane thoughts and feelings. It is a state of relaxation and peace, the goal being to reach a state of non-thought. This is not easy but it is essential. Your mind must be at peace so that you can focus on what you're trying to accomplish. This generally comes with continual practice.
Visualization
Visualization is the ability to see with your mind & not with your senses. Although you use all your senses to accomplish this goal. Now close your eyes. Within your mind's eye & think of something that you might need to visualize, a baby bird, for example. Let your mind see its tiny body, its feathery soft wings, its little open beak, etc. Let your mind feel the feathers. Are they soft or rough or damp or dry? Does the bird have a scent? Let your mind smell that scent. Let your mind hear the chirping as the little bird tells you all about its troubles. (Taste also falls into this category, but it doesn't apply in this case .)
Visualization is not always easy, but with practice you can visualize anything you want. During spellwork you visualize your goal, being very specific and detailed. During a healing, you will visualize good health for the person receiving the aid, also being specific and detailed. You must see the person "well", laughing, running, etc.
Energy Direction
This is the ability to use the energies of the correspondences, your own energy and that of the universe & direct it towards your goal. As you direct a healing, the energy is coming from you. Try this: From within yourself visualize a bright light, maybe blue for a healing spell for the baby bird that must have fallen from the nest. Visualize it forming within yourself centered between your chest and stomach. Let that light grow and expand. Then direct it up through your body, down your projective arm, out your fingertips and into whatever you are trying to heal. While you direct that light, that energy, you will be visualizing your intent with as much intensity as possible.

| Variations on Color Healing Visualizations
NOTE: While working, magick, healing or otherwise, it is wise to burn at least one white candle to symbolize and reinforce the contact with the spirit. White is the color of the Elemental spirit, Angels, Gods of wisdom, divination and prophecy. Purification and cleaning on all levels, contact with higher self and spiritual helpers, inner peace, aura-healing, truth seeking, consecration, spiritual enlightenment, protection against negativity, breaking curses, meditation, inspiration, clairvoyance, invoking spirits. White can be a replacement for any other color your goals require.
Visualizations
Visualize colored light. First visualize white light in and around you, purifying and protecting you. Then imagine yourself being filled up with the desired color or colors, one by one, entering you through your crown chakra. Then breathe or direct this colored energy into your visualized goal. Repeat this until it feels sufficient. Finish with white light surrounding you.
Another way of using colored light: You may focus on the desired color using the correspondents, or you may wish to use a colored lightbulb or lamp covered with a cloth or filter of the desired color to give off the correct color cast needed, if you wish. You begin the ritual by visualizing a white light first, followed by light in the color you need. Perform your ritual, whichever you choose, visualizing the need or the illness, and when it's time to send the energy into your goal: 1.) If it is a healing ritual, then send it into the person you are working on as a healing light, 2.) but if it is another type of ritual, then send it as a beam that sends in what is needed to accomplish your goal. Then see it join with the whitelight and clear out any negativity that is there. When working with people,it can be very helpful to have their photograph, or something with their full address on it. During the ritual you take the photograph or written address and hold it in both hands, visualizing the colored light entering the person. After the ritual put the photograph into an envelope and leave it on your altar, allowing it to absorb more colored energy. Do the ritual on 3 successive days and leave the envelope there for another 7 days, or longer in serious cases. Colors have healing qualities and you can influence the atmosphere in your surroundings by conscious color use.

Here are the correspondence tables to follow, but your intuition is the ultimate authority, especially in spiritual/psychic experiences. Believe in yourself and you can't go wrong here.
There are many shades of color. Clear shades and pastels give off positive or pure energy. The clearer and brighter, the more positive. The dirtier or "heavier" a color, the more polluted the energy is with negativity, imbalance or fear.

Bright, clear red is associated with physicality. A person with this color prominent in the aura is likely to be athletic or sensual, passionate, willful and/or strong.
Red is the element of fire, the planetary influence of Mars and the keynote of D Flat. It is a stimulant and excites the nerves & the blood. It releases adrenaline and vitalizes the physical body. Flashes of red often denote anger, and a murky red (maroon) can be lust, while dull red is often resentment. When looking for physical disease, red often denotes over-stimulation or inflammation of an area. Red is contra-indicated in all inflammatory conditions and most emotional disturbances as well. Keep in mind that red gives energy to the system but I would suggest not using only red in a situation but following up with blue or green. You can also use music to help heal with this color.

Clear orange is a combination of red and yellow. It has a powerful tonic effect and frees the bodily and mental functions. It also gives both physical energy and mental stimulation. It has an anti-spasmodic effect and is good for treating muscle cramps and spasms. Orange raises the pulse rate but does not raise blood pressure. It strengthens the lungs, pancreas and spleen. It is associated with creativity and emotion. It often reveals courage and joy. Muddied oranges can represent pride and vanity. Used negatively, this color can promote destructiveness and exhibitionist tendencies to a wild degree. Orange is useful in treating bronchitis, chest problems, gallstones, and disorders of the spleen and kidneys. Psychologically it is fantastic for removing repressions and inhibitions. It helps to broaden the mind and bring about understanding. It is also excellent in supplying courage and coping abilities.

Clear yellowand Gold is very common to find around people's heads. Yellow is a mental ray and represents the intellect. It has excellent healing abilities. Lots of yellow in the aura is the sign of an intellectual. This is a good color for harmony and balance of the auras and chaakra. It can also indicate cheerfulness, or a "sunny" disposition. Impure yellows can reveal excessive intellectualizing and imbalance, or someone who is close-minded, dogmatic or critical. It is often used in healing skin problems, nervous exhaustion, indigestion, constipation and liver problems.

A bright clear green is the color of nature, balance, harmony, and peace. It is a mixture of blue and yellow and strongly influences the heart and blood pressure. In fact, chlorophyll, which as you know, is produced by plants, is now reproduced synthetically and had been used for sustaining heart action. Green promotes healing and growth, or often represents a healer. Many healers have this color prominent in the aura. Green also represents compassion, soothes the nerves, relieves tension, loosens and regulates the etheric body. It also revives the astral body that has suffered shock, fatigue and illness. Psychologically, green brings a feeling of renewal, freshness, and brightness. It governs the heart and also emotional problems such as repression. Muddier greens reveal jealousy and greed.
A shade of sickly yellow-green denotes intellect for greed or profiting from ideas, and generally shows someone who relies on their intellect both for profit and to feed the needs of their egos. Remain aware of where that person may be coming from. Green is used to aid in healing the heart, ulcers, headaches, flu, cancer and disharmony.

There are many shades of blue to be observed in auras. Blue is a steady influence and slows things down so that the body can fight infection where there is fever. It is light and cooling and very useful in combating throat problems, fevers, children's illnesses, inflammations, stings, itching, headaches, shock, insomnia, and occasional pain. It is the center of self expression and speech. It increases metabolism, promotes growth, heals burns quickly, and aids mental intuition and psychic abilities. Blue generally denotes calmness and spiritual devotion, and can be found in seekers of truth. It often represents spiritual/psychic development. Turquoise can denote a passionate and youthful adventurous questing spirit.It also helps to build up the skin and is useful when doing healing on burns. It is also a cerebral depressant and can lower mental overactivity, inducing relaxation and rest. Bright royal blue shows someone honest and loyal. Light blue reveals a good imagination and intuition. Muddy blue often reveals sadness and loneliness (feeling blue), and also worrying. Blue is conta-indicated for colds, gout, hypertension, muscle contractions,paralysis, chronic rheumatism, and rapid heartbeat.
Indigo can reduce or stop bleeding. It is good for muscle toning and you can rid yourself or your patient of obsessions with it. It aids delirium tremens and insanity, vision, smell, hearing, emotional and spiritual levels. Indigo is a powerful anaesthetic and can clear and clean the psychic currents of the body. It is purifying and stabilizing on fear and repressions, and can be used to treat diseases of the lungs, asthma, dyspepsia,the eyes, ears, and nose.

Violet and purple in the aura generally denote spiritual or religious devotion. This is the highest vibration of all the cosmic rays. It acts in a soothing and tranquilizing manner on frayed nerves and has a wonderful healing effect on all types of neurosis and neurotic manifestations. This color can be used during meditation as an aid to psychic abilities. You can use a purple/violet tablecloth, candle, etc to rev up those psychic powers and boost concentration. Violet aids in treating mental and nervous diseases, rheumatism, concussion, tumors, cerebro-spinal meningitis and kidney or bladder diseases. This color maintains potassium balance in the body. Royal purple shows leadership and strength of will. Murky purple can reveal egomania, arrogance, or a persecution complex, where the individual blames others or outside influences for their unwanted experiences. Violets are contra-indicated where the mind is underdeveloped or any signs of retardation evident.

Other Colors
These other colors are a variation of the above, only in lighter or mixed forms. Here are a few brief correspondences, but there is really no necessity in using all the attributes. You should use these in conjunction with one of the major colors. For example, pink is a form of red or violet, while gold is a source of yellow.

Pink in the aura generally symbolizes love, affection and companionship, as well as an appreciation of beauty. Hot pink shows true devotion and affection. Muddy pink can denote immaturity, dependency and neediness.
Healing often uses the metal shades of gold, silver, copper and bronze as well.
Gold represents the Sun. Sun-God. Absolute authority, financial prosperity, investments,self-confidence, creativity, perfection, male energy, luxury, winning, magickal power, overcoming bad habits and addictions. (Can be replaced by yellow)
Silver represents the Moon. Moon-goddesses. Female energy, intuition, dreams, cycles, rebirth, reincarnation, healing hormonal imbalances, emotional stability, remove or neutralize negativity, psychic abilities and psychic workings. Silver can be replaced by white or grey, depending upon your goal)
Copper and Bronze represents Venus. Love, passion, positive relationships, friendship and career promotions, negotiations.
Grey generally symbolizes fear, and it is generally grey that muddies up other colors in the aura, making them less than clear. Silver would be the positive aspects of this color frequency, representing feminine/goddess energies, optimism, intuition and spiritual awakening.
Brown, when vibrant and clear, represents level-headedness and being grounded. It has an earthy vibration of determination and organization. When murky, it can represent blocks and stale energy.Here are a few of the correspondences: Planet: Saturn. Stability, grounding, conservation, protection of household, family and pets, healing animals, finding lost objects, material constructions (buildings etc.), material increase, to make relationships solid, to increase decisiveness and concentration, attracting help in financial crisis.
Black can be fear or hatred and also show problems, imbalances and addictions. A clear jet black, however, can represent protection, mystery/secrets and wisely guarded knowledge. Here are a few of the correspondences: Planet: Saturn.....Day: Saturday.....Sign:Scorpio & Capricorn.
can be purity and truth, but is often a mixture of many colors that have not been more finely perceived or interpreted. Balls of light over the shoulders of the subject often reveal spirit guides or "guardian angels" who are important and current influences in the person's life. Here are a few of the correspondences: Planet: Moon..... Day: Monday......Sign:Cancer.
Purity, consecration, meditation, divination, exorcism, the full moon, healing, peace, spiritual strength, protection, purification, peace; may be substituted for any other color.
It's important to listen to your intuition when interpreting what you see in an aura. You are the healer and the correspondents must suit you and no other unless it adversely affects the patient.
