Elemental Magick involves tapping into the elemental energies and directing them towards a definite goal. The practitioner must become one with the element as shown in earlier lessons. This gives the practitioner access to the specific elemental energies that he/she wishes to work with. In magick, once the practitioner has become one with the elemental energies, these energies can be projected towards a specific destination. This is useful for charging talismans and amulets, and for projective healing purposes. Often this energy is directed from the body and out through the arm and hands.

Fire is the element of change and passion. It is creativity, motivation, will power, drive and sensuality. It is sexuality, both physical and spiritual. Fire is essential to spells and rituals of healing, purification, sex, breaking bad habits or destroying illness and disease. Fire is the element of authority and leadership. Fire is a masculine element and governs all candle magick.

FIRE: Energy, Desire, Passion, Protection, Defensive Magick, Physical Strength, Magickal Energy, Courage, Will Power, Purification, The sense of sight. Change, Power, Will, Force, Anger, Solar.

Fires Basic Nature: Purifying, destructive, cleansing, energetic, sexual, forceful. Heat is a manifestation of this element.

Type of Energy: Projective.
Color: Red, from the color of flames.

Places: Deserts, hot springs, volcanoes, ovens, fireplaces, bedrooms, weight rooms, locker rooms, saunas, athletic fields.
Rituals: Protection, courage, energy, strength, authority, banishing negativity.


WATER: Emotions, Feelings, Love, Intuition and Fertility, The sense of taste, healing, compassion, reconciliation, de-stressing, peace, dreams, sleep. Water is the element of emotion and subconscious. Sensuality, Sexuality, Emotions, Intuition, Cleansing, Womb, Dream, Lunar.

It is love, purification, intuition, mysteries of the self, compassion and family. It is psychic ability. Water is necessary in spells and rituals of friendship, marriage, happiness, fertility, healing, pleasure, and psychic abilities. Water is a feminine element and governs spells involving mirrors.

Waters Basic Nature: Flowing, purifying, healing, soothing, loving.

Type Of Energy: Receptive
Color: Blue, from the hue of deep water.

Places: Lakes, springs, streams, rivers, beaches, oceans, wells, swimming pools, bathtubs, showers, bedrooms, health spas, steam rooms, fountains.

Rituals: Purification, love, psychic awareness, dreams, sleep, peace, marriage, friendships.


AIR: Pattern, Breath, Intellect, Mind, Will. Air is the element of the mind. It is intellect, inspiration, imagination. It is ideas, knowledge, dreams and wishes. Air is the element of new life and new possibilities and is essential to spells and rituals of travel, instruction, finding lost items, some types of divination, and freedom. Air aids visualization. Air is a masculine element and governs the magick of the four winds, the mind/knowledge, imagination, beginnings and rebirth The sense of smell, communication, travel and intellect, inspiration, imagination. It is ideas, knowledge, dreams and wishes.

Basic Nature: Flying, moving, fresh, intelligent, suspending. Sound is a manifestation of this element.

Type Of Energy: Projective.
Color: Yellow, the yellow of the sun, the sky at dawn.

Places: Mountaintops, wind-swept plains, cloudy skies, hight towers, airports, schools, libraries, offices, travel agencies, psychiatrist's offices.

Rituals: Travel, instruction, study, freedom, knowledge, recovering lost.


EARTH: Growth, Form, Nature, Substance, Malleability, Body, Endurance, Survival, Growth, Practicality, Wisdom, Prosperity, Nature Rules the sense of touch, empathy, money, business success and stability. Earth is the element of survival. The Earth is our Mother and is the basic foundation of all the elements. It symbolises both the womb and the grave. All life begins and ends here. It is the element of stability, dependabilility and fertility. Earth is within you. It is grounding. It is essential to spells for growth and prosperity and conception. It uses natural objects such as wood, stones, crystals and mother earth herself.

Basic Nature: Fertile, moist, cool, nurturing, stabilizing, grounding. Gravity is a manifestation of this element.

Type of Energy: Receptive.

Places: Caves, canyons, chasms, forests, groves, valleys, fields, farms, gardens, arboretums, parks, plant nurseries, farmer's markets, kitchens, baby nurseries, basements, mines, holes.

Rituals: Money, prosperity, fertility, stability, grounding, employment, pets, home.

Elemental Magick and its Uses

Water is soothing, contracting and deals with emotions; Air is moving, and deals with gases; Fire is energetic and transforming. Earth is strong, grounding, and solid.

Air - Elemental Magick of Air and Wind.

Vitality of Air - Increases the Constitution of the target
Poison Vapours - Creates a cloud of caustic gas, centered at the target.
Call Wind - Creates a gust of wind, extending in all directions from the caster.
Body of Air - The target's body is transformed to air, making him immaterial, tranclucent and capable of floating.
Call Air Elemental - An Elemental with command over the winds.
The Air Elemental can toss his enemies around with ease, often throwing them into walls or other obstacles.

Earth - Elemental Magick of Earth and Stone.
Strength of Earth - Increases the Strength of the target.
Stone Toss - Direct a stone at the selected target.
Wall of Stone - Creates a stone block.
Body of Earth - Turns the target's body to stone, increasing his defence at the cost of speed .
Call Earth Elemental - Summons a mighty Earth Elemental with a powerful blow .


Fire - Elemental Magick of Fire and Heat.
Agility of Fire - Increases the Dexterity of the target
Wall of Fire- A wall of fire erupts at the designated tile
Fireflash - Conjures up a deadly ball of superheated plasma
Body of Fire - Target is immolated, gaining fire resistance and the capability to burn foes with an unarmed attack
Call Fire Elemental - A Fire Elemental burns his foes with deadly flames.


Water - Elemental Magick of Water and Ice.
Purity of Water - Increases the Beauty of the target
Call Fog - Conjures up a thick fog
Squall of Ice - A storm of ice and sleet is created, centered at the chosen tile
Body of Water - The target is made translucent and capable of water movement.
Call Water Elemental - This elemental will attack in melee with powerful blows that damage both Health and Fatigue. Not as brutal as its Earthen counterpart but useful nevertheless.
Shield of Protection - Creates a defensive energy wall around the target, increasing Armour Class and the various Resistances.
Jolt - Allows the caster to discharge electricity into surrounding creatures
Wall of Force - Summons an unbreakable wall of force at a point chosen by the caster.
Lightning Bolt - Lightning surges from the caster, striking everything between him and the targeted spot
Disintegrate - Eliminates the bindings between the atoms of a target, completely eradicating the unfortunate object or person.
