I chose the amethyst because it is said to have great healing powers & also because it is my birthstone. I can't even think of a time that I have ever been without one of these stones with me, either on my finger or in my pocket. Call it superstition if you like, but I have had a medical problem for years that should have done me in long, long ago. lol! Medical science is baffled. Every doctor I have ever gone to was baffled & couldn't believe that I was still standing! (And dancing & walking & running ...) As I said, call it superstition; call it silly; call it whatever you like, but my grandmother gave me this ring that I wear & I think that I'll just call it magick and continue to wear it! It has been said that the Amethyst is a teacher of all things spiritual, mystic and psychic. This stone is considered a great healer of the body, mind and soul.It cleanses purifies, restructures and renews.
