INNER LIGHT MEDITATION

This is a meditation for connecting you with your core Self or Essence . It uses your internal light as the object of focus.

First find your quiet space and sit comfortably with your eyes closed.
Look at the "area" that fills the space behind your eyelids. You should see particles, images, or patterns of light in this area. Gently focus your attention on this area of inner light. Do not try to create or interpret images. Don't even try to gain a clear focus. Simply look at the light with relaxed attention. .

If you feel as though your consciousness is wavering, or you are going into a dreamlike state, permit this to happen. Whatever experience you have with this meditation exercise is ok. .

If you find your mind has drifted off and began to focus on your thoughts or daily worries, simply bring your attention back to the light. With regular practice, you gradually gain a higher level of consciousness... centered in the light, peaceful joy, and freedom of your Inner Spirit.
