Define Witch: Well, not all Wiccans or Celt Practitioners call themselves witches. It's a personal choice actually, and thus is up to the individual. Personally I don't care what you call me. Whether I'll answer to the name or not is another matter. Heh...So here is your definition: A witch is a guardian, a protector of nature and of the elements. She/he studies the ways of the Ancients, ways passed down to us by our forefathers and their forefathers. To be a witch, it is often necessary to learn how to control certain forces that surround us. Everyone and everything has a creative energy, a vibration; witches learn to manipulate and direct that energy, and to use that "vibrational essence" as a force for nature. Each and every one of us have that same essence. This means that each of us have the propensity to become "witches" or "sorcerers" and harness this energy ourselves. A Witch, through intense practice and study, learns to focus and send out brain waves/feelings (electromagnetic energy) that might change some of the energy patterns and directions surrounding us all. This, in essence, is Magick.
Celtic oath of the Elements: We will keep the faith until the sky falls upon us and crushes us, Until the earth opens up and swallows us, Until the seas arise and overwhelm us. Until it is the end for all of us. Yet it is only the beginning...And fear doesn't belong here.
