Winds of Love
 

I quietly sit amongst the trees
Finding solitude, yet not alone
For around me are all the creatures
That call this forest, their home...
 

I come out here to find some peace
And send my love to you
Knowing that you are always with me
In everything I do...
 

The birds are softly chirping
Their calls are music in the air
As they twitter to each other
Come hither, or beware...
 

Around me tiny insects
Go about their busy way
Each with a job to be done
Before the closing of the day...
 

I lay here and quietly listen
To the beating of my heart
I sense that you are with me
Though miles keep us apart...
 

I listen to the whisper
Of the air through the trees
Is that my name that I am hearing
In the rustle of their leaves...
 

Are you calling out to me
Do you wish that I was there
Is that your presence that I can feel
As the wind gently caresses my hair...
 

Now the winds will take my love
And bring it there to you
So you will know you are not alone
