Upon A Falling Star
Tonight I looked into the bright night sky...
And, saw a sparkling falling star...
So I wished upon it with all my might...
And,
sent my love and dreams to where you are...
I wonder if I am allowed to tell you...
What wishes went through my head...
As I followed that path of that dimming star...
Or,
must I keep it in my heart instead...
For you know how much I love you...
I can tell you that every day...
But, do you know how much I miss you...
In
so many very special ways...
I miss not waking up with you...
Wishing your body was close to mine...
I miss the sound of your voice...
And
the energies, as our fingers entwine...
I miss the smell of your cologne...
I can only imagine what it must be...
I miss the magic of your smile...
For
it is one that I long to see...
I know I feel you in my heart...
Your presence is with me every day...
But, still I miss the physical touch...
And,
it is this that makes me say...
When I see another falling star...
I pray that I will see it when I am with you...
For then, I will know my wish was granted...
And, all those prayers and dreams came true...
