This is Brigette
by Annette (her mom)
Let me introduce you to my daughter, Brigette. When she was little, Brigette was always ready for a good time. She was such a fun kid to raise...she made me look like such a good mom! We used to put these glasses on her & she would wear them around for hours. Never dreamed she would have the aversion to glasses she has now...maybe this explains it!
The photo above was taken in 1982.
In 1983, in a baby show at a Grove City festival, she won 3rd place. She's the one in bibbed jean shorts, tube socks and tennis shoes!
Ready for gymnastics class playing with Emily, this was taken in 1984.
This was the birthday cake her Aunt Jenny made for her 4th birthday in 1985. It was designed by her cousin Monica who was 8 at the time.
At the Indianapolis Children's Museum in 1990.
With her daddy, Danny, in 1991
Cool...
When I was going to take Brigette's picture, I'd tell her "Do this (strike a pose)..." and she'd do it. She had a great sense of humor & loved mugging for the camera. Here she is, below, in...
...1986 - at Easter time, at her Grandma & Grandpa's...
...1991 - in February, at home...
...1993 - while visiting Roscoe Village...
...1995 - in Illinois with mom, visiting the Tippecanoe battlefield...
...1995 - in Illinois again, where we stopped to check out some local history on the way home from a visit with her Great-Grandma.
...and in 1998 - with 3 of her high school best friends, Stephanie, Melissa & Sarah...who weren't quite sure what to think!
Grade 6. This is my favorite of Brigette's grade school pictures.
Monica and Rusty (her cousins), Brigette and her Aunt Vette (Monica's mom) pose at the fountain in Kidspeak Park - downtown Columbus, where Brigette's name is engraved in one of the sidewalk stones. 1993.
1994. Brigette's favorite year. This was the celebration for her 13th birthday at the Columbus Zoo. Mostly kids from our neighborhood, pictured left to right are: Kelly, Regan, Monica down front, Brigette, Rusty on Pat's shoulders and Evan.
Mom's "artsy" black & white shot. 1994.
What do you think of this haircut? They say you should try everything once, but Brigette hated this.
2 photos of Brigette and her cousin Rusty - on the left, in 1981, she was just a couple of months old and Rusty was 11 and on the right at Rusty's wedding, when she was 14 and Rusty was 25.
One of her favorite Halloween costumes. The Crow. 1995.
Our neighbor, Patrick was one of her best friends, in those days.
This and the following 2 pictures are from the collection of senior pictures taken of her in late 1998. She graduated in June of 1999 from Grove City High School.
Aerosmith Rocks!
When her beloved 1986 Pontiac Grand Am finally died (sniff!), she got this brand new 2000 Hyundai Accent. After completing 2¼ years at Columbus State Community College, she is working at Glenwood Methodist Church's Daycare/Preschool/Kindergarten, teaching 3 year olds. I am VERY proud of her!
Brigette met Brian when they both loaded trucks at UPS from January to July 2000. Here are a few photos of Brian, Brigette and their puppy, "CD" (short for Crazy Dog) in November 2000.
The "due date" for Brigette and Brian's baby was sometime during the week of Labor Day 2002. This is Brigette's cousin, Monica, with her here on June 22nd. They weren't set yet for the second photo, but it's a better "side shot" of her!
B I G N E W S ! ! !

Brigette and Brian's son, Kasey Bo was born a little earlier than we all expected, on August 10th 2002. He is such a cutie!
Here Kasey, at 7 weeks old was struggling to keep his eyes open. His outfit was a gift from the family Brigette stayed with while in Germany in 1999. He's changing and growing up so fast!
Isn't this just the cutest?!!!
This is Kasey at 9 months.
Kasey at one year old...and such a sweetheart! Not walking yet but so smart!
