In the summer of 1980, Eugene Nero went to Montonerodomo in the Province of Chieti of Abruzzo Italy and looked at the baptismal and marriage records of the parish church San Martino. Several generations of my pedigree information come from his research. (If you need help with your Italian ancestry research, click on Eugene's name for information on the services he provides.) The vital records of Montonerodomo for the 1700s through 1865, I was able to research through the microfilmed copies available at the Family History Center of the Morman Church of the Latter Day Saints. Once the family immigrated to America, research became much easier!
