Mom and Dad,You asks if I am afraid? Yes, I truly have fear! I would rather be home with you and those very dear! A job must be done! Each time I wear my uniform,pride wells up deep inside; I agree with my friends, This battle must be won! So on this Independence Day,Would you please pray? Although I may not be home this year for Thanksgiving or Christmas Day! Just knowing all of you can sleep safe, What else can I say?
