Satisfaction“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals ALL your diseases; Who redeemes your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies; Who SATISFIES your mouth with GOOD things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm 103:2-5) Could it be that the sickness, poverty, brokenness and troubles you experience are somehow part of God's plan for you? Before you can experience the healing, restoring power of God, you’ve got to know the answer to those questions. If you even suspect that God is the source of your misfortunes, you won't be able to believe Him for deliverance from them. Your faith will be crippled because you’ll think that by escaping those things, you’ll be opposing His will. In order to receive all the benefits God has for you, you must know that God is a good God. That’s right, you must be certain that His will for you is health, not sickness; prosperity, not poverty; joy, not sorrow; wholeness, not brokenness, not some of the time, but all of the time! Psalm 103 says it all, but if you need more proof, try Psalm 136:1 which says, “O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His mercy (chesed) endures forever.” If religious traditions have robbed you of the goodness of God, if it taught you God brings trouble so He can teach you something, start washing those traditions right out of your hair with the truth. Let God tell you through His Word that He is the God who heals (Exodus 15:26 and Isaiah 53:5), He is a God of mercy (Psalm 86:5), loving kindness (Jeremiah 9:24), and compassion (Psalm 145:8).
