The World is Not EnoughI do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them by Your truth. Your Word is truth. (John 17:15-17) Ain’t that peculiar! God has called us to be peculiar, a holy nation to stand out from the world as living proof of His power and love (1 Peter 2:9). God doesn’t want us to share in the sufferings of the world for we are a royal priesthood. God doesn’t want us to share in their sickness, terror, poverty and failure. God never wanted that for His chosen generation, for He has something much better than the world can ever offer. God showed us that during the time the nation of Israel was held as slaves in Egypt. Pharaoh had refused to let the Israelites go, so God allowed darkness to cover the land. The darkness was so dreadful throughout Egypt that no one danced in the dark for three days. But, according to Exodus 10:23, all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings. What an example of how God wants us to live. We should be glorifying God by the victorious lives we lead, even before we see the manisfestation. We should have people telling us all the time, I’ve seen how God favored you, or I’ve heard how God prospered you and increased you more and more! or Boy are you blessed! Don’t hold back for the World is Not Enough. God has something much better for you, something that James Bond can never get. Put the Word of God to work in your life and dare to receive the glory and the blessings that belong to those who believe. Start using the Word to draw a line in the sand, to erect warning signs for the devil that say: DANGER! Off Limits! According to the truth of God’s Word, I don’t belong to you. My family doesn’t belong to you. My health doesn’t belong to you. My money doesn’t belong to you. My business or job doesn’t belong to you. I belong to a different kingdom for I am a king and priest of the Most High God. I command you to back off in Jesus’ Name NOW! Copyright © 2002 Eddy Ministries. All rights reserved.
