E T: The Extra Territorial“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us; we implore you, on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20) Unlike Steven Spielberg’s ET, the extra-terrestrial, you are an ambassador and have extra-territorial powers far beyond where you reside. If you have made Jesus the Lord of your life, you have been sent to act as a representative for Him in this world with His Anointing. Just as nations send ambassadors to represent their interests in other countries, you’ve been sent to earth to look after the interests of the kingdom of God. You can call home any time you want for God is just a prayer away. In fact, you don’t even have to reach for the phone when you already have access to the throne. Everywhere you go you are living in Embassy Suites representing the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. You have diplomatic immunity, but beyond that since you are king and priest, you also have sovereign immunity. That’s a very high honor and God has equipped you to do it. If you are American, then your home is The American Embassy. God has given you His Name and the power of His Word. He’s even put His powerful Holy Spirit inside you. And He’s given you the ability to hear and obey the directions of that Spirit and legions of angels at your service. A prophecy years ago, not of The Mothman Prophecies variety, said that there would be a time when men on the earth would walk, talk and act like God. They’d be motivated by His power and His Spirit so strongly that people would say, “Look at those true believers. They’re acting like God.” “No,” the Holy Spirit said, “they are not God. They are king and priests of God, children of God, ambassadors of God, sent to do God’s works.” We’re living in that day and we’re seeing an army of light begin to form. This is no time to be half-baked, half-hearted, half-consecrated, or half-dedicated. This is the time to go all the way with God, to give Him your whole life. If you’ll do that, He’ll give you such anointing, power, glory and goodness that you’ll be Shining much better than Jack Nicholson, as lights in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation (Philippians 2:15). Think about yourself not as an ordinary person but as an ET, an ambassador of Almighty God with extra-territorial powers. Let the interests of God’s kingdom be FIRST and foremost in your mind and heart. Submit yourself to God and say, “Lord, show me how to be Your representative in everything I do.” You are The Ambassador.
