Rebel With a Cause“Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) If you’ve been hurting and asking God to run the devil out of your life, you need to start submitting to God. The Bible says you’re the one who is supposed to overcome the devil by resisting him, by rebelling against him and his horde of used demons and doing what God says instead! When Satan tells you a lie or a series of lies, submit to God and contradict him with the Word of God. Oppose him and bind him in the mighty Name of Jesus. When you do that, he’ll flee from you. The meaning of the word flee as translated from the Greek is that the devil will “run in sheer terror,” that is, you’re his worst nightmare. You are his terrorist, and not the other way around. As you walk in faith, walk in love and oppose the devil with the Word of God, darkness is pushed back. You are to be the light of the world and you can do it, you can pull up the curtain of darkness in your life and the life of those around you! The life of God is within you. Jesus Himself is living inside you. Everywhere you go, He goes. Every problem that rises up against you, every evil spirit that tries to influence your life, is coming up against God Almighty when he comes up against you. No weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). So instead of being like James Dean, you can be winner when you Rebel With a Cause. Begin living your life with a cause knowing that the light and glory of God is in you, the Word of God, the favor of God, the blessing of God and the Holy Spirit is in you. Live royally like a king and priest that you really are knowing that Jesus, the Son of God and King of kings, is in you.
