From Here to ProsperityAnd you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers [Abrahamic covenant], as it is this day. (Deuteronomy 8:18) What is God’s reason
for prospering His people? Is it so we can wear designer clothes, buy
bigger houses and more luxurious cars? Establishing God’s covenant on
earth by winning lost souls and giving to the needy those are
God’s purposes for prosperity! You may have thought, Jesus’ ministry
was poor. In the Bible, God promised material blessings to anyone
who would walk perfectly before Him, who’d obey His Word. If God had
failed to bless Jesus financially, He would have been breaking His own
Word. Jesus took care of all His disciples and ministry workers so we
know He wasn’t poor. A poor man does not need a treasurer like Judas.
A poor man does not have a seamless designer cloak that was so nice
that soldiers cast lots for it. Don’t let anyone tell
you it’s wrong to want to prosper. It’s wrong for you not to prosper
when that prosperity can mean the difference between heaven and hell
for billions of people, including your friends and family who are not
saved. The purpose of prosperity is to display the wealth of God’s glory
and to finance the great end times harvest of souls. Forget about your
own needs, raise your vision and set your mind on giving to meet Copyright © 2002 Eddy Ministries. All rights reserved. Subscribe/Unsubscribe:
