Rain Man

“Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God; for He has given you the former rain faithfully, and He will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.” (Joel 2:23)

There’s a massive outpouring of rain and a spiritual flood coming where the former rain comes down together with the latter rain in the same month. God has promised it in His Word, a tidal wave of Holy Spirit power that will unleash the greatest wealth transfer to finance the harvest of souls for these last days. As believers, we’ve had this image of God pouring down His Spirit from some giant bucket above us. But we’ve been looking in the wrong direction for the buckets God is going to use to pour out His magnificent power are right here on earth for Jesus said in John 7:38 that out of our bellies shall flow rivers of living water. That’s right, the end time flood we are expecting will be composed of living waters that will pour forth from Believers R Us.

The Holy Spirit within us will be the source of all signs, wonders and miracles that the prophets foretold. When we pray for others the prayer of intercession, the flood of that power will start to flow. Zechariah 10:1 says, “Ask the LORD for rain in the time of the latter rain; the LORD will make flashing clouds, He will give them showers of rain” Our prayers and standing in the gap for others is what will release the great outpouring of God’s Holy Spirit as we join together and become a flood of Spiritual power on earth. So pray for a Holy Ghost outpouring. Make this mighty flood of spiritual power a priority in your life. Glory to God, it’s raining and even though you’re not Gene Kelly, you should be Singin’ In the Rain. With the Holy Spirit in you, you are Rain Man, and you can perform more signs and wonders than Dustin Hoffman or Tom Cruise.
