The God Father“that having being justified by [God’s] grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” (Titus 3:7) A covenant of grace is what we have with God Almighty. A covenant of grace is a relationship of favor that gives you access to someone else’s power. An example of grace is what the Sicilians have with the godfather or the Don of the local crime family. A merchant might come in and ask Don Corleone for a favor. The Don would say, “I will grant this favor and I will ask a favor of you, and when that time comes, I will collect it.” Once that was said, that person would become excited because he knew he would no longer have any problem because anyone who tried to rough him up would now have to face the godfather and the wrath of the whole Family. Suddenly, that person’s attitude would change. He would kiss the Don’s hand with the assurance that he didn’t have a thing to worry about. He was no longer powerless in his own mind because he had gained favor or grace with the powerful. He’d walk out thinking, “Furgeddaboudit ! All I have to do now is whatever the Don asks me to do and he knows I don’t have anything, so whatever he asks me to do, he will provide the resources to do it.” That’s grace. God’s willingness to enter into a blood covenant with you and give you everything He has in exchange for everything you have, which is not much. God took ALL your sins to give you His righteousness. God took your sickness to give you His divine health. God took your poverty in order to meet all your needs according to His riches in glory. Whenever God asks you to do something, He always provides all you need to carry it out. He gave you the comfort and guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Name and Blood of Jesus, and the precious Word of God through the Bible and these emails. The great Elohim, the Creator of heaven and earth, is your Father God. God the Father is far more powerful than any godfather that Marlon Brando or Al Pacino can ever portray. If you’re under the blood of Jesus, you are a MADE covenant child of the most powerful Boss of Bosses in the universe. You are a Goodfella, and you don’t even have to prick your little finger, debug your home, whack your enemies, rat on your friends, worry about feds like Donnie Brasco, or sing like the Sopranos!!
