Unfaithful“Who then is that FAITHFUL and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?” (Luke 12:42) Many of us are thankful that we can always count on God to be there for us, to be always faithful. But we conveniently forget the fact that God needs us to be faithful too. God needs people He can count on, He needs faithful and wise stewards He can trust over His household. In these End of Days, God does not need a physically buff guy like Arnold. What He needs are spiritually buff and faithful believers to manifest Himself in the earth now more than ever before. Believe it or not, God does need YOU. Ever since Genesis, when God gave Adam dominion over the earth, He’s needed people to work with Him to get His will done. When the children of Israel were in bondage in Egypt and God wanted to deliver them, He used a stutterer and a murderer named Moses to get the job done. Why did God choose Moses? Because He needed someone who was faithful and would dare to act on His Word. He needed someone He could count on, and He knew Moses was that kind of man for Psalm 103:7 says, “He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.” If Moses hadn’t been faithful to know God’s ways, the children of Israel would never have seen God’s mighty acts. God needs you just like He needed Moses. He needs you to be faithful and alert to spiritual things, to be someone He can trust to know His Word and be obedient to it. God needs you to be a good steward who will stretch out his hand like Moses did so that He can perform incredible signs and wonders before the billions of unsaved people in the world today. Hollywood may make it cool to be Unfaithful with the Fatal Attraction of movies, music and TV that overtly contradict the will of God. Will you instead choose to be faithful? Don’t be Unfaithful like Diane Lane, but commit yourself to be that wise and faithful servant. Say in your heart and confess loudly with your mouth, “God, I am faithful and You can count on me.” And in due season, God will make you ruler over many things and give you so much blessings that you cannot even comprehend.
