Strong MedicineIf you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you. (Exodus 15:26) No matter what your HMO says, it is God’s will to heal you regardless of your pre-existing conditions. If your faith is strong and you believe the Word of God without wavering, regardless of what circumstances or symptoms come against you, then you’ll receive that healing by faith alone without any copayments, exclusions or exemptions. But that kind of faith takes more than just hearing a few sermons or reading a few emails about healing. It takes a deep revelation of God’s healing power. So, if you haven’t reached that level of faith, the doctor, and even your PPO, is your best friend. If you’re not sure about your faith or whether you need to see a doctor, then follow the Apostle Paul in Colossians 3:15 and let peace be your umpire. If fear rises up when you are going without medical help, then go to a doctor, but go in faith. On the other hand, if you have confidence that healing is yours strictly by faith in the Word of God, then exercise your faith and receive your healing directly. Whether or not you go see the doctor is not the issue, the issue here is what you do with your faith. Either way, you can rejoice knowing God is working with you, meeting you at the level of your faith. Confess the Word about healing like Exodus 15:26, Psalm 103:3 and Isaiah 53:5, reminding God to perform His Word to heal you. The Word of God is God’s Strong Medicine, with much more power than that cable TV show, ER, Scrubs, St Elsewhere and General Hospital put together. Thank God and praise Him for your healing before it comes, and do not let the devil put you under condemnation by telling you it’s contrary to the principles of faith to use doctors and medicine when you need healing.
