As Good As It Gets“If you are willing and obedient [to God’s Word], you shall eat the good of the land.” (Isaiah 1:19) God has prepared a buffet full of blessings for you but the blessings of heaven will not arrive by Federal Express. You must be willing to receive the promises of God as well as be obedient to the Word of God if you’re going to eat the best from God’s table. What are on the menu at the King’s Table? A Beautiful Mind, a Drop Dead Gorgeous healthy body, plenty of Soul Food, Mo’ Money than Mr Deeds to take care of all your needs and even more to finance the preaching of the gospel and to bless others, a godly marriage with a wife who can out perform Martha Stewart and healthy Powerpuff children who don’t need to be Like Mike. With God in your life, you don’t need Frank Capra to direct your Wonderful Life and you don’t need Jack Nicholson, for this is As Good As It Gets. Don’t be willing for the devil to put cancer on your body, refuse it and mark Return To Sender. Be willing, instead, to be well and whole in body, soul and spirit. Refuse to accept anything less than divine health. Don’t be willing to live in poverty or in debt, but be willing to live in divine prosperity and abundance so you can display the power and glory of God in your life. Refuse to allow satan to stop the flow of God’s financial blessings to you. Be willing to receive God’s Divine Secrets for your happy marriage and your children. Don’t settle for the Carnal Knowledge of the Ya Yas of the world. Live far above it in a home full of love, peace and harmony, a home that God built, a home full of Happy Days. Don’t allow satan to peddle The Sum of All Fears and High Anxiety for the peace that surpasses understanding that Jesus paid for with His precious Blood. Don’t be a Cast Away like Tom Hanks, but be willing and obedient to cast ALL your cares on God, for He cares for you. Don’t get Enroned out of the all-you-can-eat buffet of blessings that are rightfully yours as a believer. Be willing, and be obedient to the Word of God, so you can eat the good of the land!
