To Die ForUnless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. (John 12:24) Every significant thing God births in His divine plan He allows to die before the vision is fulfilled in His own way. A grain of wheat has a vision of reproducing itself and many more grains of wheat. But the grain has to die and be buried in the ground first. A harvest then springs up out of the very process of death in the ground. Death precedes life, and the suffering precedes the glory. Such is the universal law of sowing and reaping. Moses had a vision of leading his people out of Egypt. Pharaoh as well as the Israelites drove Moses out of Egypt after Moses’ first attempt to free them by killing an Egyptian. After 40 years in the desert, God gave Moses signs and wonders to convince Pharaoh to free the people and bring them out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. The disciples had a vision of establishing the Kingdom of God with Jesus, but the very ones He came to save rejected and killed Him. God then raised Jesus from the dead on the Third Day, and the disciples performed miracles with the release of the Holy Spirit until the gospel of salvation had spread all over the world. Abraham had a vision of being the father of a great nation but his wife Sarah was too barren and old to have children. God gave Abraham a son Isaac after 25 years and he became the father of a great nation as well as the father of nations. Joseph had a vision that he would be a powerful leader and many would bow down to him. His brothers were jealous, threw him into a pit, then sold him to the Ishmaelites as a slave. He was falsely accused by Potiphar’s wife for rape and spent years in prison. God gave Joseph favor and allowed him to interpret the dreams of the butler, baker and later Pharaoh. After 13 years, he was made the Prince of Egypt and after seven years of plenty followed by seven years of famine, he was the richest and most powerful man on the planet. Has God given you a vision that is To Die For like Nicole Kidman A vision that appears dead and has yet to be fulfilled? If that vision is from God, He will materialize it in His own way. Do not try to make it happen in your own strength. Like Moses, who tried to fulfill the vision of freeing the Hebrews by killing the Egyptian, it will only fail. Wait patiently on God, no matter how long it takes, to fulfill the vision. Then you will know that it was God’s divine plan when He fulfills it in His way, and all in His good time.
