Trading PlacesSay to the righteous, that it shall be well [shalom, whole, nothing missing, nothing broken] with them, for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for the reward of his hands shall be given him. (Isaiah 3:10-11) Chances are, most of us have been afraid to give ourselves totally to God and live the righteous life obedient to the Word because we might be deprived of the pleasures and possessions of life that the wicked, ungodly people appear to be enjoying. Thats because the devil is trying hard to convince us that he can really make our lives worth living. But As The World Turns, dont buy into any of his crafty True Lies. The truth is, while we can watch many soaps on TV, we only have One Life To Live, and yielding completely to God and His Guiding Light with Passions wont cost us anything thats worth having. As we learn the benefits of Trading Places without Eddie Murphy and Dan Akroyd, we will mature from The Young and the Restless to living Days of Our Lives to the fullest. Jesus' totally yielded life on earth was The Bold and the Beautiful. He was a perfect example of the beautiful benefits that bold, godly living brings. Jesus made the hungry to be full, the dead to live, deaf to hear, the blind to see, the lame to walk. He was bold with the gospel and lived in perfect wholeness and total victory. The devil couldnt even touch Him until, by His own will, He laid down His life for all of us on the cross. The good news is you can walk in that same anointing, power, victory and glory of God that Jesus did. But you need to Get a Life, you have to trade your simple life for the abundant life of God. You have to trade your disease and sickness for His healing and divine health, your debt, lack and poverty for His prosperity, your fear, worry and anxiety for His perfect peace, your sins and carnality for His righteousness. You have to trade Life Stinks with Mel Brooks for Roberto Benignis Life is Beautiful. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose! Copyright © 2002 Eddy Ministries. All rights reserved.
