Courage Under Fire“Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) Courage Under Fire
doesn't come from Denzel Washington or Meg Ryan. Courage comes from
trusting God, from believing what God says regardless of what the circumstances
look like. Courage comes from faith, faith in the Word of God. Conversely,
discouragement comes from fear, doubt and unbelief. As children of God,
we must brush off discouragement and begin The Rising with courage,
with or without Bruce Springsteen. We must quit looking at our own shortcomings,
failures and limitations and start looking to God and His infinite supply.
We must speak the Word, rise up in the Name of Jesus and the power of
the Holy Spirit and take back what the If you've been
afraid or dismayed lately for whatever reason, read Joshua and stop
agreeing with the devil's True Lies. Reject all negative reports about
your body, your relationships or your finances. If your flesh tells
you God is not going to deliver you and there's no light at the end
of the tunnel, just speak out loud, “I have been delivered in the
