K-9: Dog Eat Dog“The meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace [shalom, nothing missing, nothing broken].”(Psalm 37:11) With the popularity of the NBC show Dog Eat Dog, we believers must realize that God's got the whole world in His hands. God created everything, so it's His world, not Wayne's World. The devil has stolen it for a short 6000 year lease when Adam committed high treason in the garden of Eden, but it will soon be back fully in God's hands through His meek and often persecuted children who obey His Word. Psalm 37:9 says that those who wait on the LORD, or the meek, shall inherit the earth and all its fullness. This includes not just money, land and tangible assets but also the frequency spectrum, mineral rights, oil and gas rights, air rights, copyrights, intellectual property rights and other intangibles. Right now the ungodly princes of darkness reign by their selfish, dog-eat-dog attitude which gives the world to the strongest and the cruelest. For some of those greedy ones like Gordon Gekko and James Bond, The World is Not Enough and The Bonfire of the Vanities is like a wildfire. But God has prophesied in Daniel 7:27 that in the coming Kingdom of Christ on earth it will be given to those who were Born To Reign like Will Smith because of their meekness, kindness, faith in God and His Word. Then, under the supreme reign of King Jesus Himself, the ragtag bands of persecuted believers will inherit the earth and run it by love, wisdom and the power of God. In a stunning Reversal of Fortune that not even Jeremy Irons can imagine, these weakest and meekest underdogs will become the most powerful hot dogs on earth with more octane than XXX or Vin Diesel. With Jesus as top dog and the Holy Spirit as watchdog they will rule the world with love and a rod of iron to compel the wicked nations to submit to the Word of God for a reign of peace on earth the like of which we've never seen.
