Signs

“For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong [with signs and wonders] on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him.” (2 Chronicles 16:9)

Long before Bruce Willis could investigate the power of The Sixth Sense and Mel Gibson could discover crop circles in his cornfield, God longs to pour out His Holy Spirit in supernatural power of Signs and wonders and material abundance through His Church. But we've gotten so caught up like Spike Lee to Do The Right Thing that we've let the warmth of God's love in our hearts grow cold. We've developed a stony heart condition like the Pharisees that's holding God back. In Mark 3, the Pharisees had a heart condition that grieved Jesus. They jealously guarded their religious traditions instead of obeying the Word of God. Their hearts were cold and insensitive to the minister of God. They knew the Hebrew Bible well and Jesus fulfilled every messianic prophecy therein, but the insensitivity of their hearts blinded them as to who Jesus really was. Their hearts were
also hardened to the needs of others and, sadly, that very same thing is happening today.

Each one of us has behaved in varying degrees like the Pharisees and, as a result, the only signs we see are Wrong Way, Cul de Sac, Do Not Enter, and the twelve signs of the horoscope. If you are desiring real powerful Signs and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in your life and the manifestation of God's supernatural power, you need to lower the cholesterol and check the condition of your heart. If your heart is hard, repent and ask God to change you. Ask God to give you the kind of heart that will allow Him to show Himself strong on your behalf. If you'll learn to do that, we'll be seeing tremendous moves of God among us that'll make those crop circles look like child's play. We'll be seeing the end time display of the glory of God, the transfer of wealth from the wicked to us, nonstop revival on every corner, and Close Encounters of the God Kind.
