The Morning After

“Through the LORD's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. The LORD is my portion, says my soul, therefore I hope in Him! ”(Lamentations 3:22-24)

When we are serving God with a humble and loving heart, He will have us go through the tough times that make us rely completely on Him, and only Him. God wants us to stand firm on His Word that we meditate on and share with others. He wants us to walk by faith and not by sight with the things we can see and feel. God wants us to receive the blessings and honor Him with praise and thanksgiving. While serving God, we should find comfort in knowing that God's love never ends and His tender mercies never stop. Unlike Jane Fonda who did not receive love from Jeff Bridges in The Morning After, God's mercies are new and are fresh squeezed for us every morning. God is so good to those who seek Him, who worship Him in spirit and in truth.

The faithfulness of God is great, and never waivers. Our loyalty toward others may hange because of self-interest, but His does not. God's love and mercies are fresh and new every day. God has a good plan for you and He has all the directions. God knows all the obstacles that will spring up as you move forward, so enjoy the journey of life and be filled with joy that God watches over you and is guiding you. Seek God always by spending time in His Word and let His goodness and mercy follow you all the days of
your life. God is such a wonderful Father who thinks about each and every one of us. God never goes back on His promises and He never ceases to bless us. We should find comfort in God's promises that we belong to Him and that God will never let us go. God further reminds us in Isaiah 43:1 “Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are Mine.”
