Glory
Days
For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. (Habakkuk 2:14) The Hebrew word
for glory in the Bible is kabod which literally means heaviness or the
full weight, the true nature of a thing. The earth is full of the glory
of God and the heavens declare the glory, or the majestic nature of
God (Psalm 19:1). The nature of a thing reveals its true self, and that
is its glory. Residing in every created thing is an expression of God's
true nature, or His glory. We are earthen vessels filled with the treasure
of God's glory (2 Corinthians 4:6-7). When we act like God and obey
His Word, we reveal His nature and fill the earth with His glory. We
are to live and die expressing that glory. Even though God was glorified
when Jesus finished the work God gave Him to do, which is to destroy
the works of the devil and restore what Adam lost at the Garden of Eden.
Jesus paid the price for all of our sins, poverty, sickness with His
precious Blood. When Vincent Van Gogh paints a picture, that's his glory.
He died broke, but he left a legacy and his paintings are now the most
expensive on earth. The most powerful thing we can do in Copyright © 2002 Eddy Ministries. All rights reserved. Subscribe/Unsubscribe:
