“The steps of a good man [one who obeys the Word of God] are ordered by the LORD, and He delights in his way.” (Psalm 37:23)

Ever since Creation, it has been God's will to lead us like Valerie Bertinelli One Day At A Time and like Patrick Duffy Step By Step. God has given us His Word and the promptings of the Holy Spirit to guide us day by day. Many believers, however, expect God to reveal His complete plan for their lives in one big fat revelation, but that's not how God works. Let God lead us in the little things, to show us what we need to change. And,
as He does, we'll change one thing at a time. Most of us probably already know what God wants us to do, but we might not know why He wants us to do it. We may not know where we're heading, but we've heard His voice loud and clear in our hearts that this is the way, walk in it.

God delights in our way when we are following in His steps. No matter how much difficulty we face, we must realize that it is God who is orchestrating the steps that we are taking if we are living a life in obedience to Him and His Word. If we want to keep on hearing God, we'll have to crucify our flesh and set aside our own selfish ambitions and
desires. Instead, we need to spend time in prayer, in meditation on the Word day and night, speak the Word and tune our antennas to listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit. We must learn to trust God for He's infinitely smarter than we are and be willing to do what He says whether we understand it or not. We must not lean on our understanding when we obey even His smallest instructions. As we trust God with all our hearts, He'll
eventually direct our paths and change us to be more like Him, one step at a time, from glory to glory, from strength to strength, from faith to faith.
