“But [Jesus] was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace [wholeness, nothing missing, nothing broken] was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)

Unlike Chris Rock, Jesus came Down To Earth not to make a movie but gave Himself as a sacrifice for sin once and for all on the cross in order to repurchase with His precious Blood everything that Adam lost at the Garden of Eden when he disobeyed God and committed high treason. Jesus came to heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind, raise the dead and to destroy the works of the devil, and that includes fear, poverty, debt, terror,
oppression, lack, sickness and disease. Once we receive Jesus into our hearts as Lord and Saviour, all the rights and privileges God originally intended for us to have such as the right to an inheritance of glory, fellowship with God, favor, increase, blessing, divine health and prosperity are fully restored. Once we have this revelation, we'll realize
that Stripes is not just a Bill Murray movie about the army, but the Stripes on Jesus' back is what brought us peace.

Since the devil is an outlaw, we'll have to exercise those rights to claim those royal privileges as children of the Most High God. Even though Jesus has stripped satan naked, dispossessed him and removed his authority on earth, even though he has no right to kill, destroy or steal from the children of God, he'll do it as long as we let him get away with it
because of our ignorance of the Word. The victory has been won and we are much more than conquerors, but we must enforce the devil's defeat by boldly speaking the Word of God in faith. Study and act on His Word and demand that poverty, debt, fear, sickness and disease leave you in the Name of Jesus. Refuse to budge, resist the devil with all you've got, and never throw in the towel. He might fight you for a few rounds, but
eventually he'll hit the canvass for the devil is nothing but a loser.
