The Edge“The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing; He makes the plans of the peoples of no effect. The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the plans of His heart to all generations.” (Psalm 33:10-11) Since his days are numbered, the devil is always up to no good when it comes to causing trouble. He may be using wicked people to steal your money, your business, your family, your children, or even to destroy your health. But the good news is God will bring those sinister plans to zero and He will make their devices of no effect. The counsel of the nations is brought to nought, but the counsel of God stands forever. When you make God a stronghold in times of trouble, no one can overcome you. No matter how powerful or terrible they are in the natural, the deck is stacked in your favor because you trust in God and His Word. God, not Alec Baldwin or Anthony Hopkins, is on your side and that gives you The Edge over your enemies. You will be Undisputed like Wesley
Snipes and eventually you’ll triumph over any trouble you may face
because God will restore what the devil stole from you. If you’ll
set your affections on God, the thoughts of His Word will be flooding
your heart and none of your steps will slip. God’s counsel will
give you stability and tranquility when the world around you is confused
and convulsing in fear. Evil tidings from the world will not be able
to shake your faith or steal your peace, your wholeness for the Word
of God will rise up, rebuke bad news and nip them in the bud. Do not
let the devil’s advances steal your joy for he is a loser and the
end of the upright is always peace or shalom with nothing broken, nothing
