“The LORD will cause your enemies who rise against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways.” (Deuteronomy 28:7)

The greatest enemies we face today are not Osama or Saddam as portrayed by the globalist-controlled warmongering media. Our very real enemies are what the devil throws at us daily and they are sickness, oppression, lack and debt. If we weren't fighting those evil forces all the time, we would be unlimited in what we could do for God's kingdom to help finance the preaching of the gospel so lost souls would be saved. Galatians 3:29 says
that we are the children of Abraham, and heirs according to the promise of Deuteronomy 28 which says our spiritual inheritance entitles us to be blessed in the city and the field, the fruits of our body to be blessed, and the fruits of our ground, our baskets, and our storehouses to be blessed. We'll be blessed coming in and blessed going out, that is,
blessed all the time.

Sadly, many of us are like Julia Roberts in Sleeping With The Enemy. We never ask God for the enemy part of our inheritance, for God to defeat our enemies before us. The word translated as defeat in Hebrew means a quick, sudden, decisive blow with the intent of destruction. We need to list all the enemies that are afflicting us and declare, "Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask You to defeat my enemies of sickness, oppression, debt and
lack before my face. They come against me one way but they shall flee seven ways. Be it unto me according to Your Word. Amen" With victory guaranteed by the Word of God, we can sleep well at night for God gives His beloved sleep, even on a bed of nails, even in the lions' den, even Sleeping With The Enemy.
