The King and IThe kings heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. (Proverbs 21:1) God Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, has reserved the right to override the will of a nations leader, if need be, to see that His people are governed according to His will. God also hears the prayer of any government leader, even if hes the worst dictator in the world like Saddam, Mao, or Stalin. God heard the prayer of King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, an ungodly ruler of an ungodly nation who had deported the tribe of Judah to Babylon. He had Gods people under his control so God warned him time and again, Nebuchadnezzar, youre going to lose your mind. And, sure enough, he went crazy eating grass like a beast in the field. One Fine Day he cried out to God and God heard him. Even though he was a wicked king of an ungodly nation, God intervened in Nebuchadnezzars life and heard him when he cried for help because he had Gods people, the Jewish nation from Judah, under his rule. If an English teacher can influence the King of Siam in The King And I, so can you. If well open the way through prayer and intercession, God will deal with our leaders from the White House to the courthouse, from the schoolhouse to the churchhouse. If we will humble ourselves, repent of our sins, seek Gods face by meditating on His Word day and night and turn from our wicked ways, God can change the oppression, injustice and corruption that exist in America, or China, Iraq, Iran, North Korea or any country for that matter. God is God, and Hell change the hearts of everyone from the President to the Congress to the Supreme Court on down to the state and local level and all law enforcement, military and civil servants to make sure His children are favored, recompensed, governed justly and are free and prosperous enough to preach and finance the gospel of salvation to billions of lost souls before the Messiah comes.Copyright © 2002 Eddy Ministries.
