No Debt

“The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.” (Proverbs 22:7)

Unlike Gwen Stefani who can only give us No Doubt, God has the power to get us into a state of No Debt. Many of us are up to our eyeballs in credit card, house, car, business, student loans and other debt, but the good news is God wants us to be free from all those debts and He has the yoke-destroying, burden-removing power to do it. God did it for many in the Bible, and just like Him as His dear children, we have the ability to call those things that be not as though they were. (Romans 4:17) We can also bind the evil spirits of debt and lack in the Name of Jesus. God can get us out of debt if we dare to believe His Word, if we make a commitment to get out of debt and then obey Him faithfully.

There is no debt too big and no situation too complicated for El Shaddai to handle. Tom Cruise may convince us that only he can do the Mission Impossible but with God nothing is impossible. If we obey His Word and understand the purpose of money, God will open the windows of heaven for us as we tithe and give offerings to the storehouse where we are fed the meat of the Word so that we can have money for the mission- to finance ministries that teach and preach the gospel of salvation to the nations so that lost souls will get saved and God is glorified.

God cancelled the debt of the entire nation of Israel by closing the Red Sea. He caused the borrowed ax head to float to return to its owner. He cancelled the debt of the widow with the two sons with the miracle supply of oil. He delivered Nehemiah’s people from all debts and mortgages on their land. He caused money to show up in the fish mouth to pay the temple tax that was owed by Peter and Jesus. God is a debt cancelling God and He is no respecter of persons. Get ready, for God is about to cancel all of our debts and we all can party like it's 1999.
