And God Created Woman“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” (Hebrews 11:3) In the 1956 French classic ...And God Created Woman directed by Roger Vadim, Brigitte Bardot is a young sexpot in sunny St Tropez who loves one brother but marries another. In the Bible, God uses words to create, and before God created woman, He said that “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” (Genesis 2:18) In fact, God used His Word to create the entire universe. In Genesis God said, Let there be light, and there was light. God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters. God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear. God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, and so on. God doesn’t do anything without saying it first for that is the way He operates. Since God made us in His image (Genesis 1:26), we too can use that mode of operation as we take the Word of God and speak them out loud until they take on form and substance and become a reality. God started saying that Jesus the Messiah was coming in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3:15, then He said it again in Exodus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. God said it in Psalm and Proverbs. God said it again in Isaiah, Jeremiah, Daniel and the other prophets all the way to Malachi. God said it all throughout the Old Testament or the Hebrew Tanak, over and over again. Then after 4,000 years, John 1:14 tells us, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” So if we’ve said that we’re healed or delivered from debt or lack many times and nothing has happened, don’t worry as even God has to wait for His Word to take effect. Just keep saying until it manifests, for it surely will. If we want to operate in God’s power and be delivered from sickness, disease, poverty, lack, oppression or whatever is afflicting us, then we need to be like God and speak things into existence. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God, so meditate on the Word of God day and night so that we can have the faith (Romans 10:17) to speak His Word out loud and let them create for us a life full of blessing, abundance, victory and glory.Copyright © 2003 Eddy Ministries.
