Legally BlessedBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. (Ephesians 1:3) In the sequel Legally Blonde 2: Red, White and Blonde, Reese Witherspoon is a sassy new Harvard lawyer crusading in Washington DC for animal rights legislation while she puts her own wedding on hold. While Reese is legally blonde, the Bible says we are legally blessed because we have been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. We belong to God by right of creation where He created us in His own image (Genesis 1:26-27). God has blessed us with all the things that we need to live where He himself gives to all of us life, breath and all things. (Acts 17:25) God has not left Himself without evidence of His existence and His loving care for us because He has shown kindness by giving us rain from heaven and crops in their due seasons. God has provided us with plenty of goods and He fills our hearts with food and gladness because of His provision (Acts 14:17). Unfortunately, so many people are consumed by lives on the edge of survival searching for nickles and dimes while the amazing grace of God goes unnoticed and an eternal inheritance of glory goes unclaimed. If they only knew by reading the Bible that God is waiting and watching, wanting us to become His children and rightful heir so He can legally bless us. Reese Witherspoon may be red, white and blonde, but God wants us to be rich, wise and blessed. God wants to give us so much more because He wants us to become His children and He wants to legally and royally bless us with spiritual blessings that are far greater than anything this world has to offer. (Ephesians 1:3) The Matrix may be Reloaded but God wants to load us daily with benefits. (Psalm 68:19) God wants to give us an eternal inheritance full of glory that can never devalue, perish, spoil, rust, melt or fade away, and that is reserved in heaven for His dear children, and only His children. (1 Peter 1:4) The process of becoming a legal child of God and heir is called a new birth (John 3:1-5) and adoption (Galatians 4:4-7; Romans 8:15-17). Because of what Jesus the Son of God had done at the cross (Galatians 4:4-5), we and our loved ones can be legally adopted into Gods family if we will place your faith in God (Hebrews 11:6), repent of our sins (2 Corinthians 12:7-9), confess Jesus before men (Romans 10:9-10), and be immersed in baptism (born of water and of the Spirit) for the forgiveness of sins. Once we have been reborn into Gods family, He only wants us to continue to be faithful to Him and obey His Word as we study it daily so He can bless us.Copyright © 2003 Eddy Ministries.
