We Are Soldiers

“You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ” (2 Timothy 2:3)

You are the few and the proud but you are much more powerful than the Marines. You are brave and have fought many battles like Braveheart against the English, like Colonel Hal Moore at the Ia Drang Valley in Vietnam. But this is a season and a time of resting for God will cause many of His people to camp at the river and enter into His rest, His goodness and His glory. There God will refresh you, cleanse you and restore you for God got peace [wholeness, nothing missing, nothing broken] like a river. Many battles at the valley of the shadow of death have taken strength from your inner being but God will wash you with His Word and renew your mind to give you a beautiful mind that thinks like Him, refreshing you for the Third Day. For as Jesus was crucified and rose again in victory on the third day, we are soldiers of God will arise with victory and salvation for a day with God is as a thousand years (2 Peter 3:8).

Move over Mel Gibson, for God is arming His soldiers with lethal weapons that will prepare for battle in this Third Day. As you wait upon God, He knows you have been faithful and your harvest is but a moment away. There is a place of refuge for you, a spiritual Jericho that soon will be taken. A new faith will come forth as you speak the Word from your mouth. You are a Universal Soldier with more kick than Jean Claude Van Damme. You are the Terminator who will bring defeat to the enemy’s camp destroying Jericho without any collateral damage. You are a Wide Receiver, for the wealth of the sinner is stored up for YOU the righteous (Proverbs 13:22). You are Superman, for God will put His SUPER on your natural ability. You are Batman, for God has hidden you in a cave and equipped you with a Utility Belt comprising of His Word, the Holy Spirit, the Name and the Blood of Jesus. You are Spiderman, the ultimate webmaster who will use the World Wide Web to win billions of souls who are lost or backslidden for God’s kingdom and fully possess the Promised Land. It is a rich land, a land of hope, righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
