Prayer of Agreement

Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You today in agreement in prayer over our lives and the lives of our families. Lord, You have said in Your word (Matthew 18:19,20) “That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”Thank You Jesus that we are in agreement as touching this prayer and we are two or more like-minded servants of the Lord.

In addition, You have said (Matthew 18:18) that “Whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” Therefore we bind the enemy from us, from our families and from this prayer. Satan and all his demonic forces have no power or authority over us and though the gates of hell may come against us, they are behind those gates and cannot influence or whisper to any of us. We loose the Holy Spirit and all the angelic forces to encamp around us, including our families and all loved ones. Thank you for Your protection, guidance and for angelic intervention in concert with the will of the Spirit.

Thank You for covering our families, our loved ones and us with the blood of Jesus. Acts 2:38-39 says, “…Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you, and to your children and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.”

We take our position as joint heirs of Christ. You have said that we will do “greater things” because You have gone to the Father. Thank You for the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the intercession of our Lord Jesus Christ as our advocate (Romans 8:27) in Your holy Supreme Court. Thank you for the gift of faith. Your Word promises us (Mark 11:23, 24) “Whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason You told us, whatever we ask for in prayer, believe that it is granted to us and we will get it.

What a glorious promise. We stand on these promises and will not be shaken. The enemy has no power over us or our families or our loved ones because we belong to Jesus, now and forever. The Word says (Acts 16:31) “Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you and your household will be saved.” Isaiah 49:25 promises “I will contend with those who contend with you and your children I will save.” Hallelujah! Not just us but our household, our children and all that we have.

We bring the power of the resurrection and the glorification of the Lord Jesus Christ to bear on this prayer. I praise You, Jesus that You said (Deuteronomy 28:3,4,10,11,13) “You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. The fruit of your womb will be blessed…then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord and they will fear you. The Lord will grant you abundant prosperity-in the fruit of your womb…the Lord will make you the head and not the tail.” We claim all this because we are “the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.” (Romans 9:8)

Our children and families are blessed, our finances our blessed, our businesses are blessed and our houses are blessed. We walk in the supernatural favor and blessings of God. We (Isaiah 49:18) “Lift up our eyes and look around; all our sons gather and come to us…declares the Lord…we will wear them all as ornaments; we will put them on, like a bride.” After all, you told us “the children of the righteous will be mighty in the land.” And, because of the blood of Jesus, we are entitled to wear the robes of his righteousness, therefore we are the righteous. Hallelujah!

We are not afraid. You have said 365 times in the Bible, “Do not be afraid.” Therefore, we have no fear because “we can do anything in Christ Jesus which strengthens us.” (Philippians 4:13) How blessed we are that you promised (Isaiah 44:3-5) “I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring and my blessing on your descendants...one will say, “I belong to the Lord”; another will call himself by the name of Jacob; still another will write on his hand, “the Lord’s,” and will take the name Israel.” Our “descendants will be known among the nations and our offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.” (Isaiah 61:9) Our children are not “doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the Lord, they and their descendants with them. Before they call, You will answer; while they are still speaking, You will hear.” (Isaiah 65:23.24) We, as well as our children walk in the favor of God and are blessed wherever we go.

“We give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His love endures forever.” (Psalm 107:1) You have redeemed us, You have blessed us, and You have saved us from the power of the enemy and have given us the ability to defeat the enemy because “greater is He that is in us than He that is in the world.” (1 John 4:4) Thank You for telling us (Isaiah 49:23) “those who hope in Me will not be disappointed.” We are not disappointed in You because of Your great love for us. Our heavenly Father wants to give us bread and not stones. You are the God of restoration who promises to “repay us for the years the locusts have eaten….never again will we be shamed.” (Joel 2:25, 26)

Thank you Lord that You have said, “prosperity is the reward of the righteous.” (Proverbs13:21) We are the “righteousness of God” because of what Jesus did on the cross. For, “Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in His ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor. Blessings and prosperity will be yours.” (Psalm 128:1,2) We claim double for our trouble, a thousand fold return on everything the devil has stolen from us. We thank You, that according to Your word, we can claim it all back. We are children of the king and You wish to prosper Your children.

We praise You that “by His stripes, we were healed.” (Isaiah 53:5) According to the word of God, You are the God who heals us and we thank You that we walk in divine healing from the top of our head to the soles of our feet. We walk in supernatural healing, our children walk in supernatural health, our loved ones and spouses walk in supernatural health. We receive your divine health and healing in Jesus’ name.

We thank You, Jesus that each of us who are not married, according to what our hearts say, have made a list of what we want in a spouse. We enter that list into this prayer as an attachment to this agreement and we thank You that You know the right person for us, and that person is on his or her way, in Jesus Name!

We thank you that we, our families and our loved ones walk in the supernatural favor of God. According to Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against us will prosper and we will condemn every tongue that accuses us. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and this is their vindication from Me.” Thank You for breaking down all the strongholds in our lives and in the lives of our families. Thank You for annihilating every mountain in our lives. Thank You for eradicating the power of the enemy in all of our lives. Thank You for the full armor of God that we place on ourselves and the rest of our family. (Ephesians 6:10-17)

Thank You for the supernatural wisdom and knowledge that you are pouring out on us so that we make the right financial, spiritual, emotional and physical decisions in our lives. Guide our paths Lord because we are so foolish at times. Thank You for blessing the work of our hands and that if we keep your commandments “the Lord will again delight in us and make us prosperous.” (Deuteronomy 30: 9, 10) Thank You for Solomon’s wisdom that we may lead lives pleasing to You.

Thank You that You are the rewarder of those who “diligently seek You.” (Hebrews 11:6) For you have said, “He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all-how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us ALL things.” (Romans 8:32) Thank you for the faith to weather every storm. Thank you for the joy of the Lord and our health, our wealth, our peace and prosperity. Thank you that we walk in victory every day. With You going before us, who can come against us and prevail? Being more than conquerors (Romans 9:37) “we have this confidence; that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to and hears us. And if we know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know that we have granted to us the requests made of Him.” (1 John 5:14,15) You are love and when we abide in you, you abide in us. (I John 4:15, 16) We receive the answers to this prayer in the name of Jesus. It is done, a finished work. You promised: “Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” (Psalm 37:4)

We praise You and bless Your holy name. Thank You for showing us how to have victory in our prayers of agreement. In Jesus’ wonderful Name, we agree and pray, Amen.
